10,000 look to make winning play at Dodger Stadium job fair
I'm one who tries not to complain, especially these days. Other than lows in stocks, I personally haven't been affected by the recession. I still got my job, which is relatively stable & secure (looks like it, anyways); I do good work, I got a good boss, still have my 401K & benefits (for now), etc. I know what it's like to be unemployed, but that was in the past. My heart goes out to all those who lost their jobs, and/or who are now on the hunt. It's pretty scary, esp when you see the #s here in California. It's tough out there. You just gotta keep trying until you hit gold. I remember that's how it was even a few years ago. Much more so today.
Still, why do I feel like that one of these days, my luck is gonna run out too?Current Mood: contemplative
