When Scrubs has its series finale on May 6th, I'm going to stick a penny in an automatic sliding door as a tribute (and then scram). It's going to be hard to say good-bye to a great sitcom that has given me plenty of fresh laughs after long days at work, and allowed me to briefly escape that so-called concept we call life which we need a break from every now & then.
But I'm all for a show that'll make a good exit on a relatively high note. That's why I'm really iffy on the reports that Scrubs will go on, even when its main star & creator (Zach Braff & Bill Lawrence, respectively) are dead-set on leaving. Same with the actress who plays Carla. The show has such a great ensemble cast that it seems like even if one person left, that'd leave a big gaping hole.
I plan on being there on May 6th. Maybe I could watch it with friends of mine who are also fellow Scrub -bers. It's do-able, if they're in the Bay Area. It'd be so cool to have a Scrubs marathon one day.
Janitor: So I hear you're homeless... crash in my garage, I guarantee you that there will not be another person in there. J.D.: (after fantasizing) You were gonna slather jam on my face and sick a family of raccoons on me, aren't you?? Janitor: [mutters] Damn it, I've become predictable.
